A Bangladeshi citizen of 18 years of age can open a Pubali Bank DPS account and minors can open a DPS account in Pubali Bank in the name of their guardian.

Pubali Bank DPS Scheme Features
- Pubali Bank DPS account can be opened at any branch of Pubali Bank.
- Pubali Bank offers timely profit rates on DPS. That is, Pubali Bank formulates interest rates in line with the profit rates of other banks in Bangladesh.
- One of the features of Pubali Bank DPS is SOD loan facility up to 80%. The tenure of this loan is 1 year. However, the DPS period of the customer should be at least 1 year.
- Facility of withdrawal before maturity. In other words, the customer can withdraw the money before the maturity date if required. You will also get profit if applicable.
- The installments of this savings plan or DPS of Pubali Bank are to be paid between 1st and 12th.
If a customer fails to pay installments for 2 consecutive months, he can still continue the scheme in the third month with very little penalty.
Pubali Bank DPS installment amount and interest rate
Pubali Bank DPS installment amount is 100 taka, 250 taka, 500 taka, 1000 taka and 5000 taka.
Pubali Bank DPS intrest rate 8% for 5 years.
Pubali Bank DPS intrest rate 9% for 10 years.
If Pubali Bank DPS is canceled before maturity
- No interest and no penalty for cancellation before 1 year.
- After 1 year to 3 years if the DPS is canceled, the customer will get the interest rate at the savings rate.
- If broken before maturity but after 3 years profit will be 5%.
- Before maturity but after 5 years customer will get 6% interest.
- The customer will get 7% profit if they break before maturity but after 7 years.

Documents required to open Pubali Bank DPS account
- Photocopy of account holder's NID card or passport, or birth registration or driving license.
- Two recent passport size photographs of the account holder. Photo of the account holder should be duly attested by the introducer or introducer.
- Photocopy of nominee's NID, or passport or birth registration or driving license to be attested by the account holder.
- 1 copy of recent passport size photograph of the nominee which must be attested by the account holder.
- Teen certificate of account holder if any.
- Tax deduction will be 10% if you have tin certificate. And if there is no teen certificate, the tax deduction will be 15%.
- Customer must have a savings account with Pubali Bank.
